It stays clean, requiring less work from you, with a little help from Vyv’s antimicrobial LED technology that kills 99.9% of bacteria and prevents mold growth. Vyv is a health technology company delivering a new class of antimicrobial light that reduces the impact of microbes in homes, public places and industries. Unlike harmful chemicals or dangerous ultraviolet (UV) light, Vyv’s finely tuned, patented light continuously kills microbes and creates an inhospitable environment to inhibit their growth on surfaces. Leaving your humidifier plugged in, with the Vyv LED lights on, gives you the peace of mind that your humidifier is staying clean. +99.9% of MRSA and E coli bacterial concentrations killed within 24hrs; growth of mold (Aspergillus) prevented (in laboratory controlled studies with prolonged use). Sanitization will only function when unit is plugged in and LED lights are on 24/7. It is normal for all but 1 LED light to turn off when the tank is removed. Use distilled water for optimal performance.
